Dispatch of the newsletter and press information by e-mail

We use the provider MailChimp to send our newsletter and press information. For this purpose the e-mail addresses of our newsletter and press information recipients are saved on the MailChimp servers in the USA. MailChimp is an offer of The Rocket Science Group, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA (shortened as: "Rocket"). MailChimp is certified by the US-EU data protection treaty "Privacy Shield" and it therefore undertakes to comply with the EU data protection requirements. Furthermore MEILLER has entered into a "Data Processing Agreement" with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp undertakes to protect the data of our users, to process the data in accordance with its data protection regulations on our behalf and in particular not to forward these data to third parties.

Use of your data

After you have registered, MailChimp will send you an e-mail to confirm your registration (double-opt-in). Furthermore, MailChimp enables various analysis capabilities on user behaviour such as the number of newsletters that have been opened, whether newsletters have been refused and whether users have unsubscribed from the e-mail list. Furthermore, MailChimp may decide to use these datafor optimisation or improvement of its own services, such as for technical optimisation of the dispatch and display of the newsletter or for economic purposes to determine the countries of the recipients. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to forward these data to third parties.

Our website integrates videos from the YouTube website. The site operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of your website pages on which a YouTube plugin is installed a connection will be made to the YouTube servers. The YouTube server will be notified of our website pages that you have visited.

TLS encryption
