The sliding tarpaulin is our extremely efficient tarpaulin system. Chose your matching solution: with manual or electrical drive, with or without tarpaulin protective roof.
Automatic arrester hooks fix the tarpaulin during the journey. The automatic folding brace fully closes the area on the tailgate. Improper operation is thus ruled out when opening the tailgate, this is ensured by the electrical safety circuit.
Securing of the load at the press of a button
In the electrical version, control your tarpaulin system very conveniently with a remote control or the MEILLER i.s.a.r. control radio control unit. Operation is even easier with the preprogrammed sequences of the sequence controller, because retracting and extending the tarpaulin is integrated in the program sequence.
The sliding tarpaulin is perfectly matched to our three-way tippers and centre-axle trailers. Because there are no restrictions to all the side wall functions (top-hinged, drop and bordmatic) with the mounted tarpaulin cable. The raised tailgate hinges are fully covered by the tarpaulin.
Side loading is also possible without restrictions. The rope system can be quickly and easily removed with the quick lock.
Use your accessories with the tarpaulin system too. The sliding tarpaulin can be combined with the spare wheel on the front wall without any problem. And access ladder makes it easier for the driver to climb into the tipper.
When retracted, your tarpaulin is protected with the tarpaulin protection roof during the loading process. If necessary, open the electric sliding tarpaulin via an emergency button: With a coupling lever and hexagon on the output shaft.
Maintain constantly high temperatures when delivering asphalt to road finishers. Our fast-closing sliding tarpaulin with temperature-resistant tarpaulin cloth prevents the mix from cooling down. MEILLER offers a silicon-coated (bitumen-proof) tarpaulin material for asphalt temperatures up to 200°C for this.
The MEILLER roll-up tarpaulin is extremely robust: From the sturdy side fixing of the crank up to the tarpaulin reinforcement on the inside to protect again falling bulk material. The cab protection is also maintained with the tarpaulin system. The flush-mounted crank means the maximum permitted outer width is adhered to as per the EU directive.
When rolling and unrolling, the tarpaulin runs over the track which makes operation easier. For loading, simply fold the track to the rear so it is not damaged. The side roll-up tarpaulin is designed for a long life: It is also possible to retension the tarpaulins individually via eccentric bearings.
With the three-way tipper, the side roll-up tarpaulin is operated from underneath with a crank – without additional climbing. On the centre-axle trailer a climb-over on the tow bar makes operation of the tarpaulin easier.
Practical: You open side roll-up tarpaulin on the rear tipper without a control station. The pendulum function of the tailgate is maintained with the tarpaulin closed. Tensioning is carried out quite simply laterally with tensioning belts and on the tailgate with elastic bands.
All tarpaulin functions are easily and safely accessible from the control station of the tipper trailer.
An adjustable crank with circumferential toothing and automatic engaging function makes tensioning the tarpaulin easier. It is possible to wind down the tailgate flap without operating hooks. This is ensured by the low-lying hooks. The permanent side tensioning on the right side of the vehicle makes it easier to tilt into a road finisher with the tarpaulin closed.
